Marianne Fry Lecture Judy gave the Marianne Fry Lecture this year in July and the subject is ‘White Identity in Psychotherapy: Can dialogic, intersubjective psychotherapy help white people work more effectively in a racialized context?’
The Marianne Fry Lectures began after her death in 1998. Her friends and students wanted to perpetuate, for the benefit of later generations of Gestalt therapists and trainees, the values and interests of a distinguished and beloved Gestalt trainer. The lectures – of which there have been five so far, focus notably on the relationship between Gestalt and spirituality, Germany and the Holocaust, dialogue, and family therapy. Gardening Project with Asylum Seekers and Refugees Judy has raised money for a new project with asylum seekers and refugees. It is a gardening project and will take place at Barrow Castle. She is looking for volunteer drivers to bring clients from Bristol to Bath. If anyone knows anyone who is interested they would be very welcome.

Joan, alongside the open courses is also delivering some of the Certificate programme in Southern Ireland.
Third Northern Lights Conference May 21st - 22nd 2009. Joan Wilmot and Dorota Owen hosted the yearly conference for teachers at Findhorn. The topic this year was Inspirations for Radical Teaching.
