I have eight years' experience of short to medium term work as a psychotherapist for the NHS ranging from crisis management to work with clients with chronic and/or sever difficulties. I am particularly interested in the effects of trauma and their transmission between generations, and in mentoring those suffering from work-related stress. My current supervision practice is with counsellors and therapists, but I am also interested in working with practitioners of other disciplines. My approach to trauma and the trans-generational effect has been influenced by my systemic constellations training, in particular by the work of Professor Franz Ruppert who has made a particular study of trans-generational trauma and bonding, from a constellations perspective. I've been finding ways of integrating the work into my one-to-one gestalt sessions, where it can be very effective. You may like to know of our training programme, headed by Viv, which has a broad range of workshops, including two a year with Franz Ruppert, whose book Trauma, Bonding & Family constellations we recently published in English translation.
